we make lots of rehearsal recordings as we're working on songs to try to think through (and remember) ideas. with the advent of quarantine our process was stopped at this stage, so I took some of these intermediate recordings and treated them as if they were the studio live tracks that form the core of our albums: recording additional layers of effected bass, turning some of those takes into drones, arrangement, etc..
